National Weather Service Huntsville AL
217 AM CDT Sat Sep 12 2026

.DISCUSSION...
Medium chances for showers and thunderstorms (40%-70%) will be
present once again today, primarily east of I-65, before
conditions dry out Sunday into the middle of next week. Scattered
showers could begin as early as 7 AM this morning with better
chances for thunderstorms during the afternoon. Severe storms are
not expected. Any precipitation should diminish after sunset this
evening. Min RH values will remain above critical thresholds each
day with light winds expected under developing ridge over the
region. This will also lead to an increase in temperatures as
highs creep back up into the mid 90s starting tomorrow.

Fog potential over the next few days: Dense fog is not expected.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None.
