.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread
in the afternoon and early evening hours before dissipating. A few
storms could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally
heavy rainfall. 20 foot winds today will be from the southwest
between 5 and 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph possible. Transport
winds will also be from the southwest around 20 mph. Mixing
heights should climb to between 3000 and 4400 feet in the
afternoon. Very high minimum afternoon relative humidity values
are expected.

values are expected.


Fog potential over the next few days: Some very patchy fog could
occur towards daybreak today and on Sunday, but winds around 5 mph
should minimize this potential.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected with such
high afternoon minimum relative humidity values.
