Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
125 PM CDT Tue Jun 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms this afternoon will gradually decrease
in coverage by early this evening. A few showers and storms could
persist in eastern portions of north Alabama into early Wednesday
morning. After a drier Wednesday, another period of thunderstorms
is expected Thursday from north to south as a boundary drop into
the region. The storms will produce gusty winds and locally heavy
rainfall.

Over the weekend, hotter weather is anticipated. However, an isolated
thunderstorm cannot be ruled out during the afternoon and evening
hours.

Fog potential over the next few days: Not expected.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
