.DISCUSSION...
Strong low level moisture advection via westerly flow will
keep minimum afternoon relative humidity values well above 55
percent on Wednesday. Westerly 20 foot winds between 5 and 10 mph
and transport winds around 15 mph are expected. Mixing heights
will remain low, but still climb above 2000 feet in the afternoon.
High pressure remains in place on Thursday. Slightly drier air
will allow afternoon relative humidity values to drop to around
40 percent. Light and variable 20 foot and transport winds are
expected. Mixing heights will be much higher climbing to above 4000
feet.
Fog potential over the next few days: Breezy conditions will
continue tonight keeping fog from occurring.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected due to
high afternoon relative humidity values forecast.
