Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
1210 AM CDT Sun Oct 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Low chances (15-30%) of showers and storms return late tonight
through Monday, mainly along and west of I-65. With the increase
in moisture and rain chances, minimum relative humidity values
will be well above any critical thresholds through at least
Monday. Mixing heights are expected to top out between 3400-6100
feet today and only reach between 2200-4300 feet Monday afternoon.
Additionally, southeast transport winds between 15-20 mph today
will decrease slightly to around 15 mph on Monday. Lastly, daytime
dispersions are forecast to be good today but decrease to be fair
to generally good on Monday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Chances of patchy fog
development is low for the next couple of nights due to elevated
winds.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not at this time.
