...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of South Central Kansas, including the following
  counties, Kingman and Reno.

* WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms with heavy rain expected to last several more
    hours. Flooding will be likely through the overnight hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kingman, Haven, Pretty Prairie, Norwich, Arlington,
    Cunningham, Turon, Nashville, Murdock, Waterloo, Willowdale,
    Zenda, Spivey, Cleveland, Langdon, Penalosa, Kingman Airport,
    Rago, Mt Vernon and Cheney Lake.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.
