This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices will climb above 100 degrees across much of the area
this afternoon.

Widely scattered storms are expected to develop along a cold front
in central Kansas after 4 pm. A few strong or severe storms with
damaging winds and locally heavy rain will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Scattered showers and storms may linger into Thursday across much
of the area. Brief heavy rain and gusty winds will be possible with
the strongest activity.

Isolated afternoon and evening storms will remain possible Friday
through Sunday but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Heat indices will climb above 100 degrees Saturday through Tuesday
across much of the area.
