This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms with heavy rain will impact much of the area this
morning. After a brief lull, thunderstorms may redevelop over
southern Kansas this afternoon. The strongest activity this
afternoon and evening will be capable of winds gusts to 50 or 60 mph
and locally heavy rain.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Isolated afternoon and evening storms will remain possible Friday
through Sunday but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Heat indices will climb above 100 degrees Saturday through Wednesday
across much of the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
