181 AWUS83 KICT 150945 RWSICT KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-152145- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Wichita KS 445 AM CDT Tue Sep 15 2026 Early this morning, a sharp cold front was located across the center of the Heartland with temperatures in the 50s and 60s across Nebraska and the northern High Plains, and temperatures in the 70s and low 80s across much of Kansas and the Missouri River Valley. Scattered showers and storms will persist across much of the region today and tonight bringing heavy rainfall and the potential for flooding. A few severe storms cannot be ruled out as well. Afternoon highs will range from the upper 60s across much of Nebraska and northern Kansas to the upper 90s across southern Kansas and southern Missouri. Lows tonight will generally be in the 50s and 60s across the central plains. For Wednesday, lingering showers and storms will end by the morning hours, and afternoon highs will range from the mid 70s across central Nebraska to the upper 90s across southern Kansas and southern Missouri. Scattered showers and storms are possible across Nebraska and northern Missouri Wednesday night, and lows will dip into the 60s and 70s. $$
