Another warm and humid night is ongoing across the state with
temperatures still in the upper 70s and 80s across eastern Kansas.
A weak cold front will sweep across the state this morning into
the afternoon. Despite the frontal passage, temperatures will
still reach the 90s and low 100s across the entire state. When
factoring in the humid conditions, southern Kansas will see heat
indices surge as high as 115 degrees. More comfortable conditions
settle into the state tonight with lows in the 60s and 70s. A few
showers and thunderstorms are possible late tonight into Wednesday
morning, mainly across northern Kansas.
