Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies were observed across the
Sunflower State this afternoon alongside high temperatures ranging
from the middle 80s across northeast Kansas to near 100 degrees
across portions of south central and southeast Kansas. Dry
conditions prevailed for most locations this afternoon, though
showers and storms were observed across far northeast and northwest
Kansas late this afternoon.

Chances for showers and storms will continue into the evening hours,
particularly across northern and western Kansas where a few severe
storms are possible. Additionally, a few weak showers and storms may
develop across far southern Kansas later tonight, though this later
activity is not expected to be severe. Overnight lows are forecast
to range from the low 60s across northwest Kansas to near 70 degrees
across southeast Kansas.

Another mostly dry day is expected for most locations on Thursday
under mostly clear skies. Afternoon high temperatures will range
from the middle 80s across northeast Kansas to the middle 90s across
southern Kansas. A few showers and storms may return to portions of
northern Kansas during the evening hours.
