Tranquil weather conditions prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas last night. Predawn temperatures were in the upper 20s and
30s with light easterly winds.

Surface high pressure will shift east of Kansas today with
southerly winds returning to the region. Clouds will increase
across the central plains with some light snow expected over
northeast Nebraska. Daytime highs will range from the colder 20s
in northeast Nebraska to the middle 50s in central Oklahoma.

For tonight, an upper level weather system will move from the
Rockies out into the Heartland. This will generate additional
snowfall for northern areas of Nebraska with rain showers expected
over Kansas, western Missouri, southward into Oklahoma. Overnight
lows will range from the teens in Nebraska to the mid 40s over
Oklahoma.
