It was a cloudy day with scattered showers across all but the far
western portions of the Sunflower State. Afternoon temperatures
were in the lower 70s to lower 80s or 10 to 20 degrees below
seasonal normal. Winds were light and variable.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible through the
evening into the overnight hours across the Central Plains.
Overnight temperatures are forecast to be in the lower 50s to
upper 60s. Light and variable winds should remain.

Precipitation chances persist into Sunday from central Nebraska
into the eastern halves of Kansas and Oklahoma. High temperatures
will be in the mid 60s in Nebraska to the lower 80s in
southwestern Kansas, western Oklahoma and southern Missouri.
Western Nebraska and eastern Colorado will have northerly winds
around 15 mph while the rest of the locations are variable around
5 to 10 mph.
