Showers and storms continue across much of the Heartland this
afternoon with temperatures ranging from the 60s across southern
Nebraska and northern Kansas, to the low 80s across southeast
Kansas and southern Missouri. Tonight, chances for showers and
storms will persist for much of the region, and lows will drop
into the 50s and 60s.

For Friday, spotty showers and storms will continue across much
of Kansas, Nebraska, and western Missouri. Afternoon highs will
range from the mid 60s across the Missouri River Valley to the low
80s across southern Kansas and southern Missouri. Overnight lows
will drop into the 50s and 60s.
