A nice afternoon was ongoing across the Plains with temperatures
in the 80s for most locations. A weak cold front is moving through
south central Kansas with isolated showers and storms currently
developing. Additional storms are possible this evening and
overnight across southern Kansas and Oklahoma. Overnight lows will
range from the upper 40s across northwest Kansas to the lower 60s
across southeast Kansas. A quiet day is expected for Sunday with
light and variable winds. Afternoon temperatures will reach the
80s across the entire central Plains.
