Temperatures across the central plains this morning reside in the
60s and 70s. Numerous thunderstorms continue to fester across
southeast Kansas into southern Missouri this morning producing
heavy rainfall and flash flooding. These storms should exit the
area later this morning. Meanwhile, later this afternoon,
scattered storms are forecast to develop across the High Plains.
These storms could be strong to severe, and will track across far
southern Nebraska and much of Kansas this evening through tonight.
Afternoon highs today will be in the 80s and 90s, and lows tonight
will be in the 60s and 70s.

For Tuesday, conditions will be quite hot across Mid-America with
afternoon highs in the 90s to 100s. A few storms are possible
across the High Plains during the afternoon and evening hours.
Lows overnight will be in the 60s and 70s once again.
