Scattered thunderstorms impacted western Kansas during the
overnight hours with a couple of severe storms early in the night.
Partly cloudy skies were seen elsewhere across the state. Temperatures
fell into the 60s across the area with light southerly winds.

For today, showers and a few thunderstorms will continue across
southern Kansas this morning, with rain chances expanding across
eastern Kansas this afternoon. High temperatures will range from
the lower 80s across the Flint Hills into the upper 80s across
southwest Kansas.

Tonight, overnight lows will fall into the 60s across the region.
There is a slight chance once again for a few showers or
thunderstorms across north-central Kansas. Otherwise, partly
cloudy skies are expected.
