Today was a cooler day across Kansas as a cold front pushed south,
draping across the state from northeast to southwest. High
temperatures ranged from the lower to mid 50s in northwest Kansas
to the upper 70s and lower 80s in southeast Kansas. Scattered
showers persisted most of the day generally along the cold front
with mostly cloudy skies behind the front. Ahead of the front in
southeast Kansas had mostly sunny skies.

Tonight scattered showers and storms will continue across the
Central Plains mainly along the cold front from northwest
Oklahoma, Kansas and northern Missouri. Strong to severe storms
are not anticipated. Low temperatures will range from the 30s in
Nebraska to the upper 50s in Oklahoma.

Tuesday will be cooler across the Central Plains. High
temperatures will mainly be in the mid to upper 60s. Most of the
region will remain dry with a 30-50% chance of precipitation in
southern Kansas. Mostly clear skies will prevail across the area
with mostly cloudy skies in southern Kansas to northern Oklahoma.
