Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures prevailed across central and
eastern Kansas today. Afternoon temperatures were in the 60s and
low 70s with easterly winds.

Surface high pressure will remain in control over the region
tonight with dry weather conditions expected. Some patchy fog
could develop over parts of eastern Kansas and western Missouri
late tonight after the recent rainfall. Overnight lows will range
from the 50s in Nebraska to the middle 60s in central Oklahoma.

Surface high pressure will drift slowly eastward towards the Great
Lakes region on Friday with dry weather expected. Winds will
remain light and generally from the south and southeast across the
Heartland. Daytime highs will be in the 70s and low 80s over
middle America.
