Scattered showers and storms impacted much of Kansas during the
overnight and early morning hours. Breezy south winds have already
returned to western Kansas while light southeast winds were common
in eastern Kansas. Early morning temperatures ranged from the low
to mid 60s in most areas across the region.

Some morning storms will linger across parts of eastern Kansas
before diminishing. Storms are expected to redevelop across
western Kansas this afternoon and evening spreading eastward once
again. Some strong and severe storms will be possible. Afternoon
highs are expected to range from the mid 80s in northeast Kansas
to the low to mid 90s in parts of western Kansas.

Another round of storms is expected for central and eastern Kansas
tonight. Low temperatures will fall into the mid 50s in northwest
Kansas while those in southeast Kansas bottom out near 70.
