Today high temperatures were in the 60s to lower 70s across the
Sunflower State. It was mostly cloudy with some showers in
northern Kansas with minimal impacts. Winds were breezy across
western Kansas with gusts up to 25 mph with light winds under 10
mph across eastern Kansas.

Tonight low temperatures will stay warmer than average for this
time of year across the Central Plains. Lows will range from the
40s in western Nebraska to the lower 60s in northern Oklahoma.
Showers and storms are likely across much of the region except for
southeast Kansas into northeast Oklahoma and western Missouri.
Strong storms are possible with the main hazards being 60 mph wind
gusts and small hail.

For Monday, a cold front will start to push southeast, resulting
in a spread of temperatures across the region. Highs will range
from the lower 50s in western Nebraska to the upper 70s in
northern Oklahoma. Severe storms are likely with the highest risks
in south central Kansas and Oklahoma. The main hazards will be
possible in the afternoon through the evening with potential for
tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail. Outside of storms,
winds will breezy with sustained winds around 25 mph and gusts up
to 40 mph.
