Scattered light rain showers moved across southeast Kansas last
night. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s with mostly cloudy
skies.

A frontal boundary will push slowly southward across Kansas then
is expected to stall out over northern Oklahoma today. Another
round of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms is expected to
redevelop across Oklahoma and Kansas. Strong or severe weather is
not anticipated with this activity. Daytime highs will range from
the low 60s in central Nebraska, to the mid 80s in eastern
Oklahoma.

For tonight, the stalled out frontal boundary will begin to lift
northward as a warm front across Kansas. Scattered showers and
a few embedded thunderstorms will migrate northward with the
lifting warm front. Once again not expected strong or severe
storms with this activity. Overnight lows will range from the
cooler low 40s in the Nebraska panhandle to the mid 60s in eastern
Oklahoma.
