Cool and dry weather conditions prevailed across Kansas today.
Afternoon highs were in the upper 30s and 40s over central and
eastern Kansas.

Tranquil weather will be in store for the Heartland tonight as
surface high pressure slides eastward into the Mississippi valley
region. Overnight lows will range from the upper 20s in eastern
Nebraska to the upper 30s in central Oklahoma.

Much warmer air will spread eastward across the central plains on
Tuesday along with westerly winds. Daytime highs of mid 70s will
occur over western sections of Kansas and the Texas panhandle with
middle 60s over eastern Kansas.
