Isolated showers and thunderstorms continue to impact portions of
south central and southeast Kansas. These showers and
thunderstorms will persist through sunrise. Additional isolated showers
and thunderstorms are expected across eastern Kansas by late
morning and afternoon today. Temperatures will reach the 90s area
wide with heat indices approach 100 degrees. Another warm and
humid night is expected tonight with overnight lows ranging from
the upper 60s across western Kansas to the mid 70s across eastern
Kansas.
