Rain and storms lingered overnight for portions of western and
northern Kansas. Overnight lows fell into the 70s for most with
middle to upper 60s felt across western Kansas.

For today, toasty conditions are expected to continue for south
central and southeastern Kansas with highs reaching into the lower
100s. Elsewhere across the state, temperatures will reach into
the 90s, with a few 80s in far northwestern portions of the state.

Tonight, storms will develop along a stationary boundary extending
from the southwest corner to the northeast corner of the state. A
few severe storms are possible during the early overnight hours
with strong wind gusts being the main threat. Run of the mill
showers and storms will then linger into the overnight hours with
temperatures falling into the 60s and 70s.
