Heavy rain gradually dissipated through the overnight hours across
central and eastern Kansas. Clouds remained across south-central
and eastern portions of the state. Overnight lows across the state
ranged from the 40s in northwest Kansas to the lower 60s in
southeast Kansas.

Today, clouds will clear out through the morning hours. Winds will
remain breezy out of the northeast for central and eastern
portions of the state. Afternoon highs will warm only into the
upper 60s to lower 70s across the region.

Tonight, chilly conditions are anticipated in the wake of the cold
front. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s for most under mostly
clear skies. Light winds will make for a pleasantly cool autumn
night.
