Predawn temperatures were in upper 60s and 70s with light winds. Surface low pressure will deepen over northeast Colorado today with south winds and warmer temperatures spreading across the region. A warm front will push slowly northward from Kansas into southern Nebraska today. Daytime highs will range from the cooler 70s north of the front in Nebraska to the hot 100s in central Oklahoma. Scattered showers and storms will develop over northern Nebraska tonight with a few strong to severe storms possible. Meanwhile the rest of the region will remain dry tonight as upper level high pressure dominates. Overnight lows will range from the cooler 50s in the Nebraska panhandle to the middle 70s in central Oklahoma. $$
