Tranquil weather conditions prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas last night. Predawn temperatures were in the upper 30s and
40s with light westerly winds.

A pleasant weather day will be in store for the central plains today
with mostly sunny skies as upper level high pressure builds over the
region. Daytime highs will range from the low 50s in central
Nebraska to the upper 60s in eastern Oklahoma.

A weather system will move east across the Rockies and push out into
eastern Colorado with rain showers developing over southwest Kansas
late tonight. Meanwhile rest of the region will experience dry
weather and mostly clear skies. Overnight lows will range from the
middle 30s in central Nebraska to the upper 40s in central Oklahoma.
