warm and humid afternoon is ongoing. At this hour, heat index
values across the region ranged from 105 to 110 degrees.
Additional showers and storms are possible this evening across
south central Kansas and across southeast Kansas tonight. Mild
temperatures are expected overnight with lows in the 70s. Any
morning convection will depart the area by midday Wednesday with
mostly sunny skies expected thereafter. Temperatures may be a few
degrees cooler Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 90s.
