A line of showers and thunderstorms was moving slowly eastward
across the high plains of eastern Colorado while much of Kansas
experienced partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Afternoon high
temperatures ranged from the 70s in eastern Colorado and northwest
Kansas to the lower 90s over southern Oklahoma. Much of Kansas and
Missouri topped out in the upper 70s to lower 80s, although a few
locations in southern Kansas saw highs in the mid 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will expand eastward across parts of
western Kansas and Oklahoma and Texas panhandles tonight while
mostly dry conditions prevail in eastern Kansas and Missouri. Lows
tonight will fall into the 60s across the region.

Showers and thunderstorms will expand across the Kansas and
Oklahoma on Tuesday while those in Missouri remain dry. Afternoon
highs will only climb into the mid 60s across the high plains of
northwest Kansas and eastern Colorado while low to mid 80s will be
common in eastern Kansas and Missouri.
