Showers and a few storms affected much of south central and
southeast Kansas overnight. Early morning temperatures were
generally in the upper 60s and low 70s.

A powerful low pressure system will provide showers and storms to
most of Kansas, central and eastern Oklahoma and most of Missouri
today. The main threat will be heavy rain and potential flooding.
Shower and storm chances will shift southeast tonight, affecting
southeast Kansas, most of Missouri and much of Oklahoma. Heavy
rain will remain the main risk with these showers and storms.

Highs today are expected to range from the 60s across Nebraska to
the low 80s across Oklahoma. Look for overnight lows to range from
the 40s across Nebraska to the middle 60s across eastern Oklahoma.
