...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN COWLEY COUNTY...

At 604 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of
Winfield, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Arkansas City, Winfield, Dexter, Geuda Springs, Maple City, and
Strother Field Airport.
