...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL SEDGWICK AND NORTHEASTERN SUMNER COUNTIES...

At 716 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located south of
Clearwater, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Haysville, Clearwater, Belle Plaine, South Wichita, and Riverdale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 0 and 1.
 Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 23 and 43.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
