...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina...

  Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Lumber River near Lumberton.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters will affect yards in the
  Pines area, Coxs Pond area, and along River Road. Additional
  residential property will be affected between the Pepsi plant and
  the river on the east side of Lumberton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:50 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
