...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina...

  Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Lumber River near Lumberton.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Low land flooding will occur along the
  river. The flood waters may affect some residential property as
  water backs up into the drainage ditches in the city.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:20 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 11.7 feet Monday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
