...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20
  to 60 NM...

At 1003 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located near Vermillion Reef, moving east at 5 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Parking Lot Area, Vermillion Reef, Horseshoe Area, and Horseshoe
Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may produce a waterspout. A Special Marine Warning may be
needed.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. If caught on the open
water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your
crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.
