  nm...
  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 919 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Mount Dirfy`s Wreck, moving east at 40 knots. Additional storms
are also possible in this area.

Locations impacted include...
Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower, Wreck 33, Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy,
Raritan Wreck, and Mount Dirfy`s Wreck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
