...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NEW HANOVER AND EASTERN
BRUNSWICK COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM EDT...

At 438 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Seagate to near Boiling Spring Lakes. Movement
was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Island, Snows Cut,
Boiling Spring Lakes, Myrtle Grove, Silver Lake, Masonboro, Sea
Breeze, and Seagate.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
