...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN PENDER COUNTY THROUGH
730 PM EDT...
At 650 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Chinquapin, or 7 miles northeast of Wallace, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Penderlea, White Stocking, Murray Town, Maple Hill, Willard, and
Watha.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 388 and 398.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
