...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL GEORGETOWN...
SOUTHWESTERN HORRY...SOUTH CENTRAL MARION AND EAST CENTRAL
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rhems, or 19 miles northwest of Georgetown, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hemingway, Dongola, Outland, Rhems, Yauhannah, Nesmith, and Henry.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
