...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GEORGETOWN...
SOUTHWESTERN HORRY AND SOUTH CENTRAL MARION COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM
EDT...
At 457 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bucksport, or near Socastee, moving southwest at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Conway, Socastee, Murrells Inlet, Red Hill, Garden City, Myrtle Beach
Airport, Burgess, Bucksville, Bucksport, Dongola, Plantersville,
Forestbrook, Yauhannah, Coastal Carolina University, Horry Georgetown
Technical College Conway Campus, Waccamaw Community Hospital,
Lighthouse Care Center Of Conway, and Conway Medical Center.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
