NORTHWESTERN DILLON AND NORTHEASTERN MARLBORO COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM
EDT...

At 411 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Clio, or 10 miles east of Bennettsville, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pembroke, Maxton, Mccoll, Clio, Raemon, Dunbar, Prospect, Minturn,
and Tatum.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
