...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DARLINGTON COUNTY
THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clyde, or 8 miles northwest of Hartsville, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hartsville, North Hartsville, Dovesville, Mont Clare, Lydia, Auburn,
Swift Creek, Clyde, Oats, Floyd, Kellytown, Society Hill, and
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
