A gradual warming trend is expected this week, with
rain chances returning late in the work week.

.DISCUSSION...

The center of a broad area of surface high pressure will slowly
shift over the Ohio Valley tonight into Tuesday, then push off to
our east Wednesday. In addition, HREF probabilities of fog have
increased for late tonight. Have added fog to the grids based on this
information. Otherwise, fair skies and light winds are expected.

Return flow around the high will offer a short period of above
normal temperatures starting Wednesday and continuing until a cold
front moves into the Ohio Valley on Friday. The front will produce a
chance of showers and storms late Thursday and Friday.

Guidance becomes less certain heading into the weekend. There remains
some evidence that additional shortwave activity could cause a wave
to form and bring periods of showers Saturday into early Sunday.

.AVIATION /18Z MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
VFR conditions will predominate through the TAF period. However, the
chance for over land fog is increasing for late tonight into early
Wednesday. The probabilities are focused across the Columbus
terminals and back into ILN, with river valley fog likely at LUK.
Will continue to monitor trends and update TAFs as needed.

OUTLOOK...MVFR/IFR conditions are possible Thursday night into
Friday.
