Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
338 AM CDT Tue Jun 11 2024

.DISCUSSION...

More seasonable temperatures will be seen today underneath high
pressure before the heat and humidity starting building in on
Wednesday. An upper disturbance may spark a few isolated showers
later this afternoon into evening, but most will stay dry. The
next notable chance for showers and storms (30-50%) will be
Thursday afternoon into evening when a cold front drops south
through the area. A few of these storms could be severe and bring
locally heavy rainfall.
