.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will slowly move into Central Illinois today then
stall over the region through much of the remainder of the week.
Ahead of the front today, temperatures will warm well into the 90s
for most of the area east of the Illinois River while dew points
climb back into the low to mid 70s this afternoon. The chance for
showers and thunderstorms will gradually increase from the
northwest through the day today. There will be daily chances for
showers and thunderstorms in the region the remainder of the week.
