.DISCUSSION...
Low pressure will develop over the central Great Plains today and
lift towards the Upper Midwest Monday. Breeze southeast to south
winds will develop Monday as a result, with gusts topping out
between 20-30 mph during the afternoon. Mixing heights will be
shallow owing to excessive cloud cover along with a few patches
of drizzle or light rain through the day. Tuesday will see even
stronger winds out of the south with gusts topping out 30-40 mph.
Widespread showers will sweep across the region Tuesday and
Wednesday.
