.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur across central and
southeast Illinois today...with showers becoming most numerous
along and east of I-55 from mid-afternoon through tonight. Light
showers will linger into Sunday morning before dry weather returns
by afternoon. Ventilation will remain poor today. Once a cold front
passes, rising mixing heights and NW winds gusting over 30mph will
lead to much improved ventilation on Sunday.
