.DISCUSSION...
A warm front will lift across the Great Plains today with
southeast winds increasing across central Illinois, especially
west of I-57. Gusts will increase into the 15 to 25 mph range
this afternoon. Most of central Illinois will be dry, but there is
an off chance (10-15%) of a light shower northwest of the
Illinois River Valley. Temps will be seasonable today with highs
in the 80s, and deep mixing will mix dew points down into the
upper 40s east to mid 50s west. RH values will bottom out between
30-45 percent east of the Illinois River with slightly higher
values west. A frontal boundary will stall over the region Tuesday
and Wednesday resulting in daily precip chances though the end of
the week.
