.DISCUSSION...
A slow moving frontal boundary near the I-70 corridor early this
morning will continue to slip south today. Temperatures will range
from the low 70s near Galesburg to around 90 near Lawrenceville. A
modest north to northeast breeze will gradually overspread the
area today behind the front. Deep mixing will help and a gradual
push over lower dew points into the area will result in afternoon
RH values dipping to 45 to 55 percent across most of central
Illinois with slightly higher values near and west of the Illinois
River. A few light showers are possible today, especially west of
I-55, but most of the day will be dry.
