Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
352 AM CDT Sat Jun 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather will prevail across central and southeast Illinois
today with southwesterly winds gusting over 20mph. A cold front
will push through the region tonight, bringing a round of
thunderstorms. A few showers may linger along/east of I-57 on
Sunday: however, the remainder of central Illinois will be dry.
Ventilation rates will be very good today, but will diminish
behind the departing cold front on Sunday as winds veer to the
northwest and decrease to around 10mph.
