.DISCUSSION...
Periods of showers and thunderstorms will continue the remainder
of the afternoon along the I-74 corridor, while isolated storms
form south of I-70 as the day progresses. Going through the
weekend, rain chances will be most widespread north of I-72,
while it may take until Sunday to get more rain south of I-70.
Much cooler weather will finally arrive early next week, though
widespread rain will accompany its arrival on Monday.
