A bitter cold airmass will persist through tonight. Winds will be
northerly this morning, then become light and variable during the
afternoon as surface high pressure moves in. By Friday, winds
become southwesterly and temperatures start to moderate but remain
below normal. Mixing heights remain low through this weekend,
resulting in poor ventilation.
