This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and early
evening. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, with
damaging wind gusts and heavy rain the primary concerns. Tornado
probabilities are low, but would be most likely north of Peoria if it
one were to occur. Additional storms may overspread portions of
central Illinois overnight, with heavy rain the primary hazard.

Heat index values will peak around 100 to 105 degrees this
afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There will be daily chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday
through Tuesday. The severe threat is uncertain at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required this afternoon and evening. The
most likely time frame is 3 pm to 8 pm.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Illinois and
southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and early
evening. Some of these storms could be strong to locally severe,
with damaging wind gusts and heavy rain the primary concerns.
Additional storms may overspread portions of the region overnight,
with heavy rain the primary hazard.

Heat index values will peak around 100 to 105 degrees this
afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There will be daily chances for showers and thunderstorms Thursday
through Tuesday. A few severe storms are possible south of I-70
Thursday afternoon. Otherwise the severe threat remains low or is
uncertain further out.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required this evening. The most likely
time frame is 6 pm to 11 pm.
